Moira King led a fundraising campaign which raised money to purchase an adapted mini-bus to enable those less able to go out on trips to be able to do so.
The Club welcomed Mark Warner of the Sailors' Society, who spoke about the work which is carried out all over the world, giving support to sailors' in whichever way it is needed.
In the regional heat of the District Quiz, the Club put up a tremendous fight but failed to qualify for the next round. A gallant third place was, however, achieved.
