Club member Derek Meakin celebrated his 90th birthday on the 24th November.Derek joined the club in 1990 and was president in 1996/97.

In his youth Derek was a keen footballer and played for Eton Manor in Leyton. The club provided Derek with an Eton Manor top which the family say he is delighted with.

Derek has now moved to Dedham to be near his family and will retire from active club service remaining as Honorary member. We are indebted to Derek for all his help over the years.
