In the regional heat of the District Quiz, the Club put up a tremendous fight but failed to qualify for the next round. A gallant third place was, however, achieved.
Four members of the club ,acting as suitably attired waiters ,helped SLADA (The South Leytonstone Area Development Association ) at their community Christmas lunch where over 70 guests attended.
In conjunction with The Salvation Army the club recently arranged a party for children from Leytonstone including enertainment from Nicky Trix and a special appearance from Santa.
