On the 12th December members of the Club ,helped by Maddison,one of the young ladies funded by the club on her African charity work,attended the SLADA lunch at Leytonstone. We were waiters and helpers for the day.

SLADA (the South Leytonstone Area Development Association ) arranged a lunch for 79 pensioners and local residents who also enjoyed a disco plus choir from George Mitchell School in Leyton. The day was capped by a visit from Sally Littlejohn ,the mayor of Waltham Forest.
