Special visitors from The Royal Society for Blind Children

l to r Kevin, club president Rashid with Justin and Nugget

On the 9th November the club were delighted to welcome Kevin McNulty of RSBC and Justin Cunningham, a beneficiary of the societies work, along with his helper and companion Nugget. Seven members of the club recently collected for the RSBC at Tesco's of Leytonstone.

Justin was born with serious eye defects and by the time he was seven he was totally blind. This remarkable man of 23 explained how he leads an independent life, full of determination to achieve as much as he can. He is widely travelled and, regardless of all the obstacles, he manages to complete what he sets out to do. He reached us by tube (in the rush hour ) and was returning the same way.Nothing seemed to faze him.

A very inspirational story.
