It is with great sadness that the club announces the death of its longest serving member Ken Hearn on the 29th March.

Ken had been a member for exactly 50 years,was twice club President as well a driving force on several committees over the years.Ken was always prominently involved in everything the club valued and our members were fortunate to benefit from his kindness,sound knowledge and advice.

In recognition of his club and community service Ken was elected a Paul Harris Fellow in 2007,the highest honour we could bestow.

Ken was a true gentleman and both our club and the community at large will miss him greatly
